Job summary

LMI, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a Sr. Project Control Analyst to support PM teams in financial management of government contracts (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus). The role emphasizes accuracy, ownership, and collaboration across departments.

You will manage budgets, EACs, forecasts, and reporting, set up CostPoint projects, monitor spend, review invoices, and support audits. A strong background in Deltek Costpoint and MS Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Project/Program Control role for a government contractor – experience with FFP OTA preferred.
• Experience Managing Program Control teams
• Deltek Costpoint experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organization
• Strong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistency
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• Strong MS Excel skills required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management Teams in the development, review, and updates of project budgets, forecasts, and EACs and reporting.
• Set up and maintain CostPoint project workforce and budgeting structures; communicate ceilings and budgets to project teams.
• Monitor and review expenditures for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Review project financial performance and propose corrective actions or improvements.
• Support subcontractor cost management and vendor invoicing, ensuring alignment with prime contracts.
