Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or architecture preferred.
• 10 years direct experience in Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control and project management.
• 20 years direct experience in the field in lieu of degree.
• CCE/CAPM/PMP certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates good organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in prevailing project controls software.

Responsibilities

• May supervise the activities and review the work of project controls staff.
• Creates and maintains routine and special reports reflecting cost and schedule status for complex projects.
• Assists manager in development of standards and systems for the project controls group.
• Develops databases and spreadsheets for monitoring project cost, schedule, and procurement reports.
• Interprets reports and communicates variations in cost, schedules, trends to appropriate personnel.
• Meets with management to set up project scheduling and cost tracking databases and reports.
• Attends internal and external project meetings to report cost and schedule status.
• Trains others on the use and/or development of project controls databases and software applications.
• Travel required. Valid driver's license required.
