Richard Group is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead control functions for construction initiatives in Chicago. The role ensures projects stay on budget and on schedule through planning, monitoring, and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM/CE or related field.
• 12+ years of project controls experience in construction.
• Experience calculating and reporting earned value management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP Operations, program managers, and PMs to set project control objectives for 30+ projects.
• Develop detailed plans for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality control.
• Ensure regular reporting of progress to flag cost or timeline risks.
• Work with PMs to develop budgets based on estimates and resources.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with schedulers and PMs to maintain schedules.
• Identify delays and propose mitigation to keep timelines.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Audit and improve document control systems.
