Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a seasoned project controls professional to lead scheduling for large capital programs onsite with our clients. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules, analyze variances, and support cost and risk management across multifaceted programs in the energy, grid, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, OR 6 years of equivalent/related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of capital project scheduling experience on process industry projects with project values of $500 million or greater.
• High proficiency with Primavera P6 and ability to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules.
• Experience performing project controls analysis across schedule, cost, progress, change, risk, and reporting disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, urgency, self-starter attitude, and ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to project managers, leadership, and contractors.
• Ability to perform field walkdown observations and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• You’ll demonstrate project controls expertise on large capital projects, with a preference for Utility New Gas Generation projects.
• You’ll develop and maintain integrated project schedules, plans, and WBS structures, and apply scheduling and cost control techniques.
• You’ll identify, analyze, and document schedule and cost variances and assess impacts to milestones and completion dates.
• You’ll perform schedule analytics to evaluate quality, critical paths, progress, and contractor performance trends.
• You’ll work collaboratively with client personnel, engineering firms, EPC contractors, OEMs, and delivery partners.
• You’ll promote safe behavior and ensure adherence to safety requirements and site rules.
• You’ll implement PM Standards across cost, schedule, scope, WBS, risk, change, and reporting.
• You’ll support Stage Gate reviews with cost, schedule, progress, risk, and controls information.
• You’ll analyze contractor data to identify issues, validate progress, and support invoice review.
• You’ll assist in project and portfolio analysis, optimization, and reporting aligned with budgets and multi-year plans.
• You’ll develop metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership visibility on performance, trends, risks, and issues.
• You may conduct training on Stage Gate Processes, PM standards, and project controls disciplines such as QRA.
