Job summary

Baker Power & Process is seeking a qualified Sr. Project Controls Engineer to support multiple construction projects. The role centers on developing cost and schedule baselines, collecting monthly progress data, analyzing variances, and reporting results to management.

The ideal candidate will implement financial controls, forecasting techniques, and Earned Value Management, interfacing with project teams and senior leaders across the organization. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction/business or equivalent.
• Experienced Primavera (P6) user.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and analyzes integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Gathers project progress information to update and monitor schedules.
• Calculates and analyzes project cost, resource forecasts, and accruals.
• Generates earned value reports and discusses observations with project manager.
• Prepares client and internal status reports on cost status and trends.
