Job summary

Aegis Project Controls seeks a Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for a data center program in Pittsburgh. You will work with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems across the project life cycle.

Five+ years in project controls, data center experience, and Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency are desired.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction.
• Two or more years in project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree or five+ years in vertical construction if waived.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents accurately.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing schedules for data center projects.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses for planning and scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
• This role requires full-time on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM schedules.
• Review documents to develop baseline schedules with dates, activities, milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting.
• Review contractor progress and present to management for decisions.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risk and impacts within schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and stakeholders.
