Job summary

Aegis Project Controls seeks a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide CPM scheduling and project control services for data center initiatives. This on-site role in Childress, Texas involves developing baselines, monitoring progress, and coordinating with client project managers and field teams to keep projects on schedule.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in project controls, strong knowledge of Primavera P6, and the ability to analyze critical paths, costs, and resources.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
Two or more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field (waived with five+ years of relevant experience).
Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
Ability to interpret construction documents and know means, methods, and sequences.
Experience developing schedules for data center projects.
Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules with all dates, activities, and milestones.
Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
Conduct critical path analyses and propose corrective actions.
Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
Review contractor progress and present to management for decision-making.
Develop KPIs, metrics, and benchmarks; manage costs and resources.
Identify and evaluate risks and impacts within project schedules.
Communicate project status and challenges to project teams and stakeholders.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support services to our valuedclient'sdata centerpractice. This position will work with a team of professionals, including client project managers, construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to develop, manage,andmonitorCPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project's life cycle.This role is a significantproject team position withmany growth opportunities.

Requirements:

Fiveor more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
Twoor more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture,engineering, construction, project management, orarelatedfield. This requirement may be waived withfiveor moreyears of direct, vertical construction industry experience.
Proficiencyin Oracle Primavera P6.
Ability to accurately interpret construction documents.
