Job summary

Aegis is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for a data center practice. You will work with client project managers and site teams to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules across the project life cycle.

The role emphasizes constructing baseline schedules, conducting progress updates, and presenting schedule status to stakeholders. Requirements include 5+ years in project controls and CPM scheduling, data center experience, and a on-site full-time

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
• Two or more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field, or waived with five years of direct vertical construction experience.
• Ability to accurately interpret construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification(s) preferred.
• This role requires being full-time on-site.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules that accurately include all required dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule-related problems, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team.
• Review the contractor’s progress and present it to management for decision-making.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identification and evaluation of risk and impacts within project schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges effectively.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and various stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is: 110,000 - 160,000 USD per year (La Porte, IN)
