The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver accurate data under tight deadlines.

You will develop weekly cost and labor progress reports, support change management activities, and work with procurement and payroll to ensure accurate cost allocations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in project controls and cost management.
• Experience with EPC contractors or oil and gas projects.
• Degree in engineering or construction management required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multiple project cost reports weekly.
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports.
• Assist with change management system including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management.
• Timely and accurate forward-looking analysis and mitigation plan development to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts.
• Actively participate in bi-weekly or monthly reviews of all cost controls deliverables with the project team.
• Assist management in forecasting the project expected costs for monthly reporting.
• Develop and maintain budgets in progress tracking tool.
• Assist with auditing payroll coding on a weekly basis.
• Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of information.
• Liaison with the procurement and billing departments
• Conduct costs corrections.
• Understand earned value management systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
