Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Senior Analyst, Project Controls Cost to support project cost management in Chicago. You'll work on developing construction plans, analyzing expenditures, and managing cost forecasts critical for renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in project cost control, providing analytical rigor to support decision-making and improve execution across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project cost control, project accounting, financial analysis, or related project controls functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop forecasts and analyze variances.
• Proficiency in project coordination across engineering, procurement, finance, and construction stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the full lifecycle of project cost management.
• Provide cost input to project planning activities.
• Conduct commercial evaluations of vendor and contractor proposals.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze project cost forecasts.
