Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Planning, Scheduling, and Control professional to lead all planning activities for large-scale industrial projects in the United States. You will manage actual/forecasted schedules, costs, revenues, cash in/out, risks, and opportunities, while driving improvements in planning tools and processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of financial or project management related experience.
• 5 years of financial experience in a project business preferred.
• Large project management exposure in an industrial manufacturing business or similar preferred.
• Experience or exposure with risk management policies and procedures preferred.
• SAP Project Systems experience or similar preferred.
• Cost forecasting and scheduling experience or exposure preferred.
• Self-driven personality with high motivation to work in an international company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and control efforts for all project phases of individual delivery for large-size projects.
• Maintain and analyze actual and forecasted schedules, costs, revenues, cash in/out, risks, and opportunities.
• Support improvements to planning competence, tools, and processes used in planning and control.
• Support the Project Manager by supervising project execution and performance through schedule, cost, cash, and risk planning.
• Analyze project requirements with the project team and ensure essential work activities are identified in sufficient detail for realistic project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and analyze project critical paths.
• Ensure critical path activities and project milestones progress according to plan.
• Notify Project Managers of deviations and provide input for resource optimization.
• Ensure individual projects are closed according to customer contracts in alignment with the Project Manager and Project Controller.
• Report to the Local Division Controller.
