Job summary

WGA, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Project Control Specialist to serve as the central hub for project execution and financial oversight on large‑scale infrastructure or construction programs.

You will manage project lifecycles end‑to‑end, monitor budgets and burn rates, coordinate with teams and clients, and support reporting, risk management, and compliance with design and field workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or construction management, preferably in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation control.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and document management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence efforts and support proposal creation.
• Coordinate and facilitate project kick-off meetings.
• Oversee daily coordination of project tasks, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Act as primary liaison between project teams, subconsultants and clients.
• Manage permit submittals, agency coordination, and WCR renewals.
• Track and monitor project documentation, inboxes, and expiration dates.
• Coordinate updates and reporting in ERP and financial systems.
• Track project budgets, actuals, and burn rates; generate project reports.
