Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 9+ years of progressive project control experience.
• Strong understanding of project control concepts, contract types, GAAP and FAR rules and regulations.
• Ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads and staff to meet milestones and objectives.
• Customer focused with ability to analyze data, interpret results, and develop solutions to complex issues.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication to document, report, and present findings.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide peers.
• Ability to represent the business unit on external projects.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work self-initiated, in a team, and extend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manages project control activities for assigned programs or a defined business unit to ensure objectives and customer requirements are achieved.
• Implements and refines standard planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of contracts; suggests process improvements.
• Provides leadership to project control staff to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Represents the business unit with internal and external customers; prepares and delivers presentations on status and metrics.
• Oversees planning, recruitment, retention, and development of team members; supports staff training and capability building.
• Provides guidance to staff to meet section goals and resolve issues; may assist on critical schedules.
• Monitors costs related to project control activities; supports budgeting and forecasting for programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
