Job summary

Seawayprojectcargo is seeking a seasoned Project Cargo Manager to lead complex shipments from planning through delivery. You will work directly with clients, coordinate with carriers and port operators, and ensure safety and timeliness across global routes.

Responsibilities include end-to-end shipments valued at $1M+, routing and scheduling, carrier liaison, risk mitigation, and strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project cargo or heavy lift logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with ocean, air, and ground transport.
• Experience with oversized/overweight permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project cargo shipments valued at $1M+.
• Develop detailed project plans including routing, equipment, and timeline.
• Coordinate with carriers, ports, and ground transportation providers.
• Maintain client communication and provide regular status updates.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets and optimize costs without compromising quality.
