Job summary

DuPont in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Buyer to lead procurement for operating materials and services across capital and site projects. You’ll be the main contact for project teams, shaping procurement decisions from early in the lifecycle and guiding other buyers.

You will drive RFx processes, negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier performance to deliver cost savings, schedule improvements and value across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• CPSM and/or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape sourcing strategy from the start for each project.
• Lead high-value sourcing and contracting across major packages.
• Negotiate pricing, milestones, warranties and contract terms.
• Build strong supplier and contractor partnerships with the team.
• Manage risks, governance and compliance on critical paths.
• Prepare executive-ready updates on savings and procurement risk.
