Aston Carter is seeking an Experienced Project Buyer to support large-scale construction projects across various industries. You will source and procure materials, equipment, and services, build supplier relationships, and partner with project teams to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

This role is based in Minneapolis, MN, in a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in procurement or project buying, a bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, or project buying experience.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing, negotiations, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services while ensuring best overall value.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders and purchase agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor procurement activities from order placement through final delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues, including returns, replacements, and quality concerns.
