Job summary

South Bow is seeking a motivated and collaborative Project Attorney to join our legal team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President & General Counsel and embedded in a major project team, this role will be the legal focal point for a major joint venture infrastructure project spanning the US and Canada, and multiple provincial and state jurisdictions.

You will be responsible for managing all legal aspects of the Project, including Engineering, Procurement and Contracting negotiation, litigation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in legal practice supporting major infrastructure or similar projects
• Experience in joint venture governance practices
• Ability to build cross functional relationships and influence outcomes with practical legal guidance

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and practical legal counsel to the project throughout its lifecycle
• Support project teams and external counsel on governance, regulatory and commercial matters
• Identify legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Defend against litigation or regulatory actions
• Support project financing activities
• Act as trusted advisor and coordinate cross-functional collaboration
