Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will work with cross-functional teams to enable business objectives while managing legal risk. JD/LLB and 7+ years in corporate law are required, with work authorization for US or Canada.

Location options include Houston, TX, USA or Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with travel as needed. The role emphasizes strategic, practical advice in a dynamic legal team.

Formación

• JD or LLB from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate (securities/M&A) law.
• Eligible to work in the United States or Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with internal client groups to deliver timely legal support.
• Assist with confidential corporate transactions from NDA to close.
• Support financing activities and capital markets dealings.
• Identify legal risks and develop mitigations for business objectives.
• Oversee due diligence and governance advice; supervise external counsel.
• Advise on securities laws and exchange requirements.
