Job summary

Actalent in Minneapolis is seeking a Project Architect (or Job Captain if unlicensed) for a permanent, direct-hire position. You will lead design development from inception, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and ensure documentation aligns with project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture required; professional degree a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam required.
• 5-10+ years of professional architecture experience.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Strong communicator and presenter with client interface skills.
• Portfolio across Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate or other Commercial projects.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective.
• Effective team experience working with multiple team members.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team from project inception through all phases of the project.
• Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff.
• Research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes.
• Integrate architectural design and/or models with structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production.
• Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, project teams, and clients.
• Coordinate the team and project through construction phase.
• Work closely with Project Manager and team to coordinate the work amongst all internal and external members.
• Deliver overall quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals.
• Actively build new and future relationships.
