Job summary

Konik is seeking an Architectural Project Captain/Architect in Minneapolis, MN for direct hire. You will develop detailed construction documents for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects, coordinate with teams, and ensure design compliance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, AAS or architecture degree, Revit proficiency, and a strong knowledge of codes and detailing. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Architectural Drafting or an Architecture degree (Bachelor's or Master's) is required.
• 7+ years of professional architecture experience on commercial or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong detailing knowledge.
• Solid understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to develop detailed construction documents for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.
• Research and apply zoning, site planning, and building code requirements to ensure design compliance.
• Integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Produce advanced architectural detailing and specifications for projects.
• Oversee the work of more junior staff.

Join a nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned architecture and design firm seeking an Architectural Project Captain with a passion for technical excellence. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in precision detailing, complex coordination, and high-quality documentation for large-scale commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects. This role is ideal for an architect or project captain who thrives on technical project work.

Project Captain / Architect Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior staff to develop detailed construction documents for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects
