Job summary

Popli Design Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Architect to lead multi-discipline projects from design through construction administration in Rochester, NY. The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors to ensure design integrity and code compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on design and documentation experience, a NAAB-accredited degree, professional licensure in NY (or reciprocity), and proficiency in AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• 5-year NAAB Accredited degree or equivalent education and work experience combination.
• 10+ Years of hands-on design and documentation experience.
• Professional licensure in the State of New York (or be willing to gain reciprocity within reasonable timeframe)
• A Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned architectural or multi-discipline projects and coordinate with internal or external design team members, consultants, clients, contractors and governing agencies.
• Mentor and foster the growth / development of PDG junior team staff with regular and focused feedback.
• Review project documentation to ensure code compliance and PDG standards are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address issues.
• Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings and addenda, and support field operations.
