Job summary

CCY Architects in Basalt, Colorado is seeking a Senior Project Architect with 12+ years of experience to lead projects from concept through construction, collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

The role requires mastery of architectural design, technical execution, and project delivery, with responsibilities including design development, documentation, code analysis, QA/QC, and mentoring. Must be licensed and proficient in REVIT, Bluebeam, and Adobe CC.

Qualifications

• 12 years minimum professional experience in Architecture.
• Active Architectural License.
• Bachelor of Architecture.
• Experience managing complex and varied projects, with direct client, consultant, and contractor interface.
• A high level of REVIT literacy.
• Fluent in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working technical knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
• Ability to coordinate and lead the work of other team members through mentorship, guidance, and instruction.
• Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills to work with a diverse team of designers.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate design development, documentation, and detailing across disciplines.
• Produce quality construction documents for permitting, bidding, and construction.
• Lead coordination of consultants and day-to-day contract administration activities.
• Mentor emerging professionals and contribute to firm initiatives and design culture.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance project delivery standards.
