Job summary

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is seeking a Project Architect with extensive practice experience to oversee projects in the office and lead project teams and consultants. You will be deeply involved from conceptual design through project delivery, including field work, client coordination, and ensuring quality across all phases.

A licensed architect with 10+ years of experience is preferred. Travel up to 20% is expected; you will mentor junior staff, supervise technical work, and liaise with clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from accredited university.
• 10+ years of relevant experience post-graduation, preferred.
• Certification as a licensed professional is required.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects of large scale and complexity; lead lower level staff.
• Provide professional architectural consultation in planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
• Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.
• Lead technical design aspects and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
