Job summary

LaBella Associates seeks a Project Architect for our Syracuse, NY office to lead design efforts across multiple markets and coordinate with large teams and outside subconsultants.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10+ years of experience, strong technical design and documentation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture. NY licensure is desirable but not required; salary ranges $70,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required or expected.
• Registered Architect in NY is desirable but not required.
• 6–10+ years of experience.
• Experience with NYS OGS or other government agencies is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of New York State building codes.
• Strong technical design and construction document skills.
• Well-developed project design and planning skills.
• Excellent graphic presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure all aspects of the project are met and completed.
• Delegate tasks to the Project Technician and coordinate with all disciplines.
• Assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration.
• Lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate the team while maintaining a positive work environment.
