Overview

LaBella Associates is seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience for our Potsdam, New York location. Project management experience in complex project types is preferred. This leadership position requires a personable candidate with extensive experience in client service, business metrics, and successful outcomes. Prior experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant related firm is required. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and leadership skills along with the ability to work with large teams and delegate. Client and consultant coordination, budgeting and scheduling are required.

Duties

The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for markets including State Corrections, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, Residential, Commercial, and Municipal. The Project Manager will work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure all aspects of the project are met and completed. The Project Manager is responsible for leading an entire full-service project, from budget to implementation, overseeing architecturally led projects from conception through construction and completion, and ensuring project teams meet quality, schedule, contractual, and budget goals. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate, and will possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills to contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture or Project Management
Registered Architect in the state of New York (desirable but not required)
8+ years of experience
Thorough knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes
Strong technical design and construction document skills
Well-developed project design and planning skills; excellent graphic presentation skills
CAD experience (AutoCAD and Revit) preferred
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project) experience preferred

Salary and Benefits

Base pay range: $70,000/yr - $90,000/yr. Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000. The specific salary offered may be influenced by factors including relevant experience, education, and work location.
