Guidon Design in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Project Architect to lead design and documentation from concept through construction. You will ensure high-quality, well-coordinated construction documents while engaging in problem-solving and client interactions.

The role requires managing multiple projects, mentoring teams, and coordinating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
• Professional licensure or certification/registration.
• 10+ years’ experience.
• LEED accreditation or willingness to obtain it is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs for new construction and renovation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers throughout the design process.
• Direct and mentor project architects, engineers, and designers.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and design review sessions.
• Lead the production of construction documents and detailed design drawings.
• Conduct on-site construction administration and inspections to ensure quality execution.
• Facilitate coordination within a multidisciplinary project team to achieve design excellence.
