Job summary

EskewDumezRipple seeks a Project Architect with 8+ years of experience to join our New Orleans studio, leading project coordination and technical execution from early design through construction administration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years architectural experience with at least 3 years as Project Architect.
• Professional degree in architecture and active US registration or licensure pursuit.
• Revit proficiency required; LEED/WELL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conception to completion with high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams through the project life cycle.
• Develop and oversee drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Guide technical execution, ensure code compliance and integration of building systems.
• Support delivery by managing schedules, budgets, staffing, and milestones with PMs and leadership.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory submissions with AHJs.
• Lead construction administration activities, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct site observations, prepare field reports, and help resolve issues.
• Mentor junior staff and represent the firm in meetings and client interactions.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio culture focused on design excellence and sustainability.
