Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• Approximately 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience with custom residential, hospitality, or similarly detailed design work.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating work from conceptual design through built execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience producing and coordinating complete construction-document sets.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building assemblies, materials, and construction methods.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
• Experience coordinating engineering and specialty consultants.
• Construction administration and field experience.
• Strong graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively move projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the firm principal to develop and execute the architectural vision for each project
• Advance projects through predesign, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
• Develop thoughtful and well-resolved architectural details consistent with the overall design intent
• Produce clear, accurate, coordinated, and constructible drawing sets using Revit
• Coordinate structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscape, and other project consultants
• Assist with zoning, building-code, accessibility, and regulatory research
• Communicate directly and professionally with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and reviewing agencies
• Participate in client presentations and project meetings
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and contractor questions during construction
• Conduct site visits and document construction progress
• Manage project priorities, schedules, deliverables, and overlapping deadlines
• Contribute to office standards, BIM workflows, project-management systems, and quality-control procedures
• Support the growth of the practice while maintaining a consistently high standard of design and documentation
