Orion Engineers + Constructors in Greenville, SC seeks an Architect to join our growing team. The role supports industrial, advanced-manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities with hands-on design responsibility and multi-discipline collaboration.

Experience range: ~5 to 20+ years; licensure progress desired; opportunity to grow into architectural leadership as the Greenville office expands. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Approximately 5 to 20+ years of relevant architectural design, construction-document, or project-delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating architectural scope with structural and MEP engineering disciplines.
• Architectural licensure progress or licensure status.
• Experience in EPC/design-build or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, construction documents, details, specifications, and code-related documentation for assigned projects.
• Coordinate architectural scope with civil/structural, mechanical, building mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, process, and piping design disciplines.
• Prepare and review architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and building-code analyses.
• Assist with development of scopes of work, preliminary budgets, design schedules, and architectural input for proposals and estimates.
• Respond to RFIs and review shop drawings and submittals during construction.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to QA/QC practices.
