Job summary

Perkins & Will Inc. in Houston seeks a Senior Project Architect to provide technical leadership and documentation coordination for complex healthcare facilities, including high-rise cores and shells. You will develop design drawings, supervise project teams, and ensure quality control across phases.

Responsibilities include directing construction documents, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining project schedules and budgets while mentoring junior staff and upholding studio standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in architectural design, documentation, and project leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of codes, specifications, and building systems.
• LEED AP certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• Licensed Architect with proven project management experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and construction documentation standards.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and documentation coordination for complex healthcare projects.
• Direct production of schematics, design development and construction documents.
• Coordinate engineering systems and field observations to monitor progress.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to Perkins & Will standards.
• Engage with clients and consultants; participate in project meetings and presentations.
