McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture seeks an Architect III to lead design development and produce construction documents for complex projects. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and consultants, manage design teams, and ensure compliance with codes, budgets, and schedules.

Strong proficiency in CAD/BIM, detailing, and project management is essential. Previous licensure and eight years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent.
• Registered as a licensed architect.
• Eight (8) years combined experience as an intern architect and/or architect.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to effectively and confidently prioritize and execute tasks with many competing priorities.
• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Lead design development and construct construction documents.
• Take responsibility for finished plans, specs, and material approvals.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Act independently with architectural methods and complexities.
• Prepare design presentations and proposals.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and workforce projections.
• Oversee project team guidance and quality control.
• Conduct code research and liaise with authorities.
