Dennis Group’s Architects support our industrial architectural practice in designing and building food and beverage processing facilities. The Project Architect leads design phases from programming through construction administration, applying sanitary design, building materials, and construction methods.

Responsibilities include programming and concept development, coordinating with the Project Manager, preparing documents, code reviews, and guiding the design team.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects.
• Architectural license desired with LEED accreditation a plus.
• Broad range of commercial/industrial project experience preferred.
• Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare programming and concept development documentation to meet clients’ needs and budget.
• Establish budget, task schedule, and other components of a project work plan with the Project Manager.
• Execute applicable agency review analyses for codes, zoning, accessibility, life-safety, etc.
• Carry out design and architectural detailing tasks including site and building planning studies, elevation studies, stairs, functional space layouts, building sections, wall sections, details.
• Produce schematic, design development and construction documents; coordinate with the Project Manager and team.
• Provide leadership to the project team for document coordination and specifications.
