Job summary

Dennis Group is a design-build engineering firm and general contractor specializing in food and beverage processing facilities. Our Architects support the industrial architectural practice across all design phases, from proposal development through construction administration, applying sanitary design and construction method knowledge.

The Project Architect role involves coordinating with project managers, designers, and engineers, producing construction documents, and maintaining office

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Architectural license / in pursuit of license strongly desired with LEED accreditation a plus.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects.
• 4–7 years of commercial or industrial project experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is necessary.
• 3+ years of experience with Revit.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously on specific tasks from design to implementation.
• Prepare programming and concept development documentation to meet clients’ needs and budget.
• Assist in establishing budget, task schedule, and other components of a project work plan with the Project Manager.
• Carry out design and architectural detailing tasks including site and building planning studies.
• Produce schematic, design development and construction documents; collaborate with Project Manager and team.
• Prepare presentation materials (renderings, drawings) and coordinate documents.
• Maintain architectural standards, details and production tools.
• Document and evaluate conditions pre-design; prepare submittals for permit approval.
• Coordinate building systems and reconcile conflicts; participate in marketing efforts.
