Job summary

ERO Architects in San Antonio seeks an experienced Project Architect / Architectural Project Manager to bridge design, production, and construction administration across multiple projects in South and Central Texas. You will lead teams, coordinate consultants, and stay actively involved from programming through closeout, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a degree in architecture, and proficiency with Revit and ACC/BIM 360.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional architectural experience preferred.
• Texas architectural registration preferred, but not required for candidates with strong demonstrated experience and technical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience using ACC/BIM 360 for project collaboration and construction administration workflows.
• Experience managing architectural projects while remaining actively involved in project delivery and production.

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural projects from programming and design through construction administration and closeout.
• Remain actively involved in architectural production, documentation, detailing, and coordination as project needs require.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents with internal team members, engineering consultants, specialty consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Provide quality control and technical review of drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
• Lead or support client meetings, design presentations, consultant coordination meetings, and project team meetings.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and internal resources.
• Provide construction administration services, including submittal and shop drawing review, responses to RFIs, site observations, punch lists, and coordination with contractors and owners.
• Identify and resolve technical, constructability, and coordination issues throughout design and construction.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to younger architectural staff.
• Work collaboratively with ERO leadership and staff across multiple offices and project teams.
• Support several projects simultaneously and transition between project management, production, coordination, and construction administration responsibilities as workload demands.
• Travel periodically throughout South and Central Texas to support clients, project meetings, site observations, and construction activities.
