Job summary

Archinect in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Lead Architect to direct architectural production and technical development, translating design concepts into coordinated, buildable documentation. The role leads design teams and BIM standards.

You will guide architects, coordinate with BIM/modeling, and ensure deliverables meet the firm's quality standards. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and knowledge of codes is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional architecture experience.
• 3+ years of front/lead architectural design team leadership.
• Experience translating design concepts into buildable documentation.
• Strong knowledge of codes, accessibility, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate design direction into coordinated architectural documentation.
• Lead the architectural production team through project phases.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, BIM/modeling team.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor progress and deliverables.
• Review drawings and models to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and coordinate architectural details, materials, systems.
• Maintain consistency and quality across project documentation.
• Coordinate work with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
• Support compliance with building codes, accessibility, zoning, and standards.
• Participate in design reviews with Project Managers and Directors.
