Job summary

HOK seeks a licensed Senior Architect in Seattle to drive design delivery and construction documentation with leadership across project teams. You will supervise technical staff, coordinate BIM-based documents, and ensure QA/QC while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will lead multidisciplinary coordination, mentor staff, and contribute to sustainable design practices in a dynamic studio environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
• 15+ years of design experience.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Construction Phase Services in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate drawings and specifications across disciplines and consultants.
• Mentor and direct less experienced staff; participate in performance reviews.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to best practice standards in technical documents.
• Engage with client leadership and notify on design progress and schedule.
