Job summary

DELV Design seeks a Senior Project Architect to lead adaptive reuse and preservation projects in Indianapolis. You will guide projects from concept through closeout, mentor junior staff, and grow the firm’s preservation practice while coordinating with a collaborative design team.

The ideal candidate holds an architecture degree, an active Indiana license, and 8–12 years of related experience with strong Revit, Adobe Suite skills and a proven preservation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in architecture.
• Current architectural license in Indiana or state of residence.
• 8–12 years of related work experience.
• Degree or certificate in preservation or significant documented experience in preservation.
• Proficiency with Revit and Adobe Suite.
• Robust adaptive re-use portfolio with façade and structural systems.
• Ability to plan and detail exterior and interior components of various types of construction.
• Visualization tools to communicate designs three-dimensionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases: due diligence, design, approvals, permitting, construction administration, and closeout.
• Mentor younger staff on adaptive reuse and preservation projects.
• Collaborate with design team to pursue clients and expand capabilities in preservation/adaptive reuse.
