Senior Project Architect | Boston, MA

A well-established, award-winning architecture firm in Boston is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its growing team. The firm is supporting high-profile aviation, infrastructure, and public-sector projects throughout the Boston area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys technically complex, long-term projects and wants to take on greater project and team leadership. Current work includes a mix of ground-up construction and renovations, with projects often spanning 2–3 years.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex architectural projects across multiple phases
  • Oversee construction documents, technical detailing, and project deliverables
  • Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary consultant teams
  • Lead and mentor project teams of approximately 2–5 people
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate technical solutions
  • Support projects through Construction Administration, including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with building codes and ADA requirements
  • Participate in local site visits throughout the Boston area
Qualifications
  • Approximately 10+ years of professional architectural experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Strong technical documentation and detailing experience
  • Construction Administration experience
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Infrastructure, aviation, transportation, or public-sector experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
