Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Administrator to support Construction Administration tasks alongside Project Architects, tracking RFIs, submittals, and contractor communications while adhering to HDR's QA standards.

You will create and maintain files, coordinate meetings, and assist with client interactions across multiple projects, contributing to an inclusive, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years related experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple Project Architects to organize, process, and follow up on Construction Administration tasks via Newforma software
  • Track Construction Administration processes, subconsultant RFIs and Submittal responses and manage timely return of all communications
  • Apply quality assurance guidelines and monitor for QA independently
  • Coordinate with Architecture Project Managers and project teams as needed
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files
  • Assist with and coordinate meetings and presentations
  • Maintain professionalism with clients (internal and external) and oversee staff as needed
  • Exercise good judgment and resolve issues relating to administrative project functions
  • Answer questions regarding company policies and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as needed

In the role of Senior Project Administrator, we’ll count on you to:
  • Work with multiple Project Architects to organize, process, and follow up on Construction Administration tasks via Newforma software.
  • Help track Construction Administration processes, subconsultant RFI and Submittal responses, and help administer timely return of all correspondences to the Contractor/Owner.
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures and independently monitor for quality assurance
  • Work with multiple Architecture Project Managers and project teams as needed.
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files.
  • Assist with and help coordinate meetings and presentations.
  • Exhibit professionalism with clients (internal and external).
  • Oversee activities of other administrative project support staff as needed
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion, and independently resolve problems and issues relating to administrative project functions
  • Answer questions regarding company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
  • Proficiency in Newforma, eBuilder, and Procore
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Due to client contract requirements US Citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
