Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience.
• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with JD Edwards or other comparable ERP solutions is preferred.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Thrives in a fast paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with others.
• Ability to work independently and be highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting for large, complex construction projects.
• Review AR/AP, invoicing and cost coding.
• Mentor and train junior staff and associates.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Run weekly PM accounting meetings and provide training on JDE.
• Monitor budgets, cost trends and job profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and contract requirements.
• Support operations with forecasting and strategic financial guidance.
