SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Accountant III to oversee accounting for solar and energy projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, WIP tracking, and billing. You will work with project teams, manage close processes, and drive improvements to strengthen controls and reporting.

The role combines expert technical accounting with mentoring responsibilities and may be based in San Diego, CA or remotely within the Pacific time zone. Strong ERP and CMiC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• 2+ years of Big Four or Top 10 audit firm or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting oversight for assigned construction projects (revenue, costs, WIP, billing).
• Lead complex month-end, quarter-end, year-end close activities and audits.
• Review project data for accuracy and compliance; support audits and risk mitigation.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across Project Accounting.
• Mentor and guide other project accountants and ensure timely billing.
