Form Energy is seeking a highly analytical Revenue & Projects Sr. Accountant to own end-to-end revenue and project accounting for power plant projects, ensuring GAAP/ASC 606 compliance and tight internal controls. Relocation assistance is available as the team scales.

You will partner with accounting and finance to manage deferred costs, assets, and project cash flows while supporting SOX compliance. The role requires 4–6+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on revenue recognition and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused heavily on revenue recognition, project/asset accounting, and internal control execution (SOX).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus).
• CPA or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
• Experience within the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector a plus.

Mansioni

• Revenue & Deferred Revenue Accounting: Manage all revenue accounting processes with GAAP/ASC 606.
• Contract Review: Review complex customer agreements to determine proper accounting treatment.
• Deferred Revenue: Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules.
• Billing & Invoicing: Oversee project-related billings and reconcile with the GL.
• Project Accounting & Asset Management: Track CIP through capitalization for power plant projects.
• Deferred Project Costs: Monitor and reconcile deferred project costs.
• Fixed Asset and Operating Power Plant Support: Maintain fixed asset register and analyze OpEx.
• Internal Controls & Process Ownership: Own ICFR for revenue cycle and project assets; ensure SOX compliance.
• Month-End Close, Reporting & Compliance: Prepare JEs, reconciliations, variance analysis, audit support, and process improvements.
