Milhouse is seeking a Project Accountant II to manage the full financial life cycle of complex projects within Milhouse Engineering. You will partner with project managers and finance leadership to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control across initiatives from start to close.

The role emphasizes advanced project accounting, risk assessment, mentoring junior staff, and driving process improvements in ERP and reporting to support profitability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in a business-related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project accounting.
• Experience leading financial planning and management of large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to partner with leadership to drive profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead project setup and financial structuring for assigned projects.
• Prepare invoices for all assigned projects on a monthly, interim, and milestone basis.
• Review and approve invoices prepared by junior accountants; ensure billing accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze project costs, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
