Job summary

Perkins&Will in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Project Accountant with 5+ years of experience to join our team in a hybrid setting. This role tracks project financial performance, handles accounting functions, and supports the annual operations plan while coordinating with multiple studios.

The ideal candidate has an accounting or finance background, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track project financial performance with project managers and office leadership, reviewing plans for fee alignment and providing training as needed
• Perform accounting functions including time and expense reporting, client invoicing, collections, AR/AP, and journal entries
• Conduct monthly financial and operational metric reporting and ad-hoc analyses for executive decisions
• Support the annual operations plan
• Prepare and file local business license, sales/use tax returns, and occupancy tax returns as required
• Support reporting requirements of the firmwide accounting group
• Maintain open communication with other offices on cross-studio projects
