Job summary

The Accountant role at Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) supports the NETL accounting function, handling multiple project accounting tasks and producing reports on financial results. You will administer approved accounting practices at the project level to ensure accurate financial data for control and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Excellent spreadsheet and word-processing skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to multitask.
• Experience with automated payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Solid understanding of multi-state payroll tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee database within payroll system (CostPoint).
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review employee expense reports.
• Assist Business Manager & Senior Accountant with projects.
• Perform contract accounting and reporting; manage project financials.
• Prepare and issue financial statements and internal/external reports.
• Interface with auditors and respond to information requests.
