Job summary

Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) seeks a Principle Control Systems/Electrical Engineer to design, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control, data acquisition, and low-voltage electrical systems for NETL projects across multiple sites. You will guide projects from concept through commissioning and coordinate with project managers and site managers to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field with PE license.
15+ years experience or 10+ years with a master's degree.
Professional Engineering License required.
Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
US citizenship for federal contract; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Lead design-build projects across NETL sites ensuring schedule, budget, and safety compliance.
Design control and data acquisition systems for lab to pilot scale, including HMIs and instrumentation.
Configure PLCs, DCS, and HMI software; select instrumentation and systems.
Develop LabVIEW applications for R&D projects.
Coordinate project scope with managers and stakeholders; draft NEC-compliant drawings.
