Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in project-based environments.
• Strong Deltek experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting across multiple architecture and engineering projects.
• Use Deltek to maintain records, monitor budgets, track costs, and generate project-level financial reports.
• Prepare and review client invoices (time-and-materials, fixed-fee, and other contract-based billing).
• Monitor budgets, labor costs, expenses, billing status, and profitability.
• Partner with project managers to review project financial performance, WIP, unbilled revenue, accounts receivable, and forecasts.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Review time entries and expense reports for accurate project coding and billing.
• Track contracts, changes, amendments, and budget updates to maintain records.
• Assist with revenue recognition and ensure practices align with standards.
• Support collections by monitoring receivables and coordinating with clients.
