Moss & Associates is seeking a Senior Project Accountant for our Allen, TX office to review contracts and agreements for accounting and to prepare financial statements for projects. You will support month-end close, manage budgets, and ensure compliance across invoicing, subcontractor billing, and payables.

You will interact with project teams and management to communicate profitability risks and provide accurate forecasting through job cost detail and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• 3–5 years minimum of work experience in project accounting with a General Contractor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on advanced Excel features.
• Ability to manage confidential information and work independently within a team.

Responsabilités

• Review owner contracts, addendums, and exhibits to ensure financial compliance.
• Interpret owner contract requirements related to project finances.
• Review PCI’s prior to posting for accuracy and correct PCI type usage.
• Enter budgets for new/added project phases and manage subcontractor billings and payments in Textura.
• Assist with accounts receivable collection and project forecasting through reconciliations.
