Job summary

Hayward Tyler is seeking a Project Accountant to manage contract billing, accounts receivable, and project cost tracking for the Natrium Project with TerraPower. The role partners with Contract Administration, Project Management, Business Development, and Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and timely financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting demanding month-end deadlines, while building strong working relationships with TerraPower

Qualifications

• Experience with contract billing under government or large commercial contracts.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and accuracy.
• Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and month-end close.
• Ability to collaborate with contract administration and project management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer billings in accordance with contract terms and cost principles.
• Respond to invoice questions and coordinate resolutions across departments.
• Track and report invoice submissions, approvals, rejections, and re-submissions.
• Monitor overdue balances and follow up on collection delays.
• Prepare billing trackers, aging, and management reports.
• Support cash flow forecasting and management reporting.
• Complete month-end billing and project accounting activities.
