Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Sr. Manager, Programs to oversee the day-to-day administrative management of assigned program(s) within the UHealth Department, delivering high-quality initiatives to faculty, staff, and stakeholders.

This role partners with leadership and program teams to manage budgets, reporting, and compliance, including NIH training grants, with a focus on efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant program or academic administration experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day administrative management of assigned program(s) within the department.
• Liaises with leadership, faculty, students, and staff to support initiatives.
• Manages program budgets, reporting, and expenditures.
• Monitors grants, procurement, and program documentation for compliance.
• Supervises and develops program staff to ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinates program events and activities and grows program awareness.
• Develops new programs and resources in response to evolving needs.
• Ensures internal controls and university policies are followed and staff are trained.
